62 days ago I went to the doctor because for the past two weeks, I had had cramping and my boobs were sore as hell. Basically, all the symptoms of pms with aunt flow visiting.
So I went in, even though I don't like hospitals, waiting rooms, awkwardness of waiting for an answer to vague symptoms... The nurse asked me if I thought I could be pregnant and I said maybe, since we've been playing Russian roulette for a while. However I had done a pee stick sesh two weeks prior and nothing came out of it.
So, I did another urine test and surprise! There was a lil nugget growing in my uterus. I exploded with joy, questions and smiles when the Dr announced it to me. So unexpected, yet talked about for over a year... From then on, I knew our life would never be the same. But all better.
When I announced it to Steve , he was so happy, emotional and awesome. This is such a positive life experience, he says, we couldn't be happier.
We both have huge smiles on our faces every time we think or talk about the lovely little seed growing into a human being that our love made, that it's hard not to talk about it all the time when were together.
He has been an amazing husband, friend and soul mate for almost 8 years and I cannot wait to see him become an amazing father I know he will be.
